The product was as advertised, after I ordered the product arrived on time, the packaging was designed for the product, the assembly instructions were written in an easy to read single page, the product took approximately ten minutes to unpack and assemble, the product is well constructed and the wood was stained evenly.For me and my application I wished the storage compartment was on the reverse end…this product is designed for use on an extra wide chair or used while you are seated on a sofa…in my application I use the table adjacent to my recliner and if the storage compartment was on the opposite end it would be more user friendly…that’s for my application.The lid to the storage compartment has a shelf that would hold an iPad is used as designed. The storage compartment has two receptacles for el citric power and three USB ports (no “C” port) and it’s really nice having a 15’ power cable.When shopping for this product I looked at a full range of products that might fit my personal application but this unit was about $50.00 more than competitive units but it was worth the…if I needed another product I definitely would consider additional products from this supplier.
This side table stands out in that the electrical sockets are located inside the storage compartment. It was easy to assember. I elected to use my own 3/8 inch hex wrench electric screwdriver instead of the one that came with the unit. The side table is sturdy with metal legs and has leg adjusters to prevent wobble. The storage box with lid is very convenient to hide the TV remote, powercords, etc. The height under the table is high enough to store a small trash can underneath. Three recommendation I would suggest for this side stand is to 1) Have the table 9 inches higher 2) deepen the storage container another 6 more inches. 3) have the opening of the storage top hinged at the end instead of in the middle of the stand.

This side table is perfect for narrow spaces. Overall quality is good - sturdy, doesn't wobble. What I didn't consider is that my sofa arms are too high to use it across them as I intended. However, it is perfect for the narrow space and I have a basket underneath for magazines. The decorative side makes it more cosmetically appealing vs just the metal frame.
